CPC 3 –the most common symptoms of a defective CPC 3 control unit are: the throttle pedal does not work, the truck will not start (there is no N neutral position on the instrument panel ), lost communication with the engine CAN (TCM, EBS, ACM, MCM …), parameters of the control unit are faulty ….
With any symptom, there is a possibility that after the truck cools down, everything functions normally, but this is short term and it is a matter of time before it happens again.
